Latest Paintings

After a year of trying to get reference for 'the Giant', Charles who ordered the picture, finally got a cloudless shot of the sleeping giant. Because it was overcast, I had to give blue skies. We did have a very small pic we took from Treverton school in Mooi River of the Giant, which helped with the colours and shades, so I didn't have to do any guesswork .

Acacia Tree Painting

This big canvas (1250mm wide) was commissioned by friends of ours, They were quite specific what they wanted. below is the pic completed and framed (by Bear).

This Nguni cow (bull to be politically correct), Iona (our neighbour) commissioned me to do from a photo she liked. I ad-libbed the background and foreground.
